1st Birthday Cake Smash Photographer Raleigh

 

 Cake smash sessions have certainly become my among favorite sessions to photograph right next to family photography. Cake smash sessions are such a great way to document such a fun milestone in your little one’s life. This is adorable Collin!

At first Collin was a little bit cautious with his cake. He seemed almost reluctant to make a mess. He slowly used his fingers to get little tastes of the frosting. He then proceeded to paint his chubby little legs with the frosting. At this point I was wondering how long the session may go for it or if he even had any interest in eating this cake. Within seconds the smash took on a life of itself, and he owned it!

When I say that he’s smashed into his cake, he picked up the cake stand, through it behind them and the cake fell to the ground. His sweet mommy and I could not help ourselves but to laugh hysterically at how literal he took the “smash” in cake smash.

I absolutely loved his adorable outfit and color selections. Then again I’m also very partial to chevron prints. I am thrilled to see that chevron is no longer just for little girls but absolutely adorable on little boys as well!
