Cake Smash Photographer Raleigh | Holly Springs, NC | 1st Birthday Photography

Here is yet another little one who is getting ready to celebrate her 1st birthday!! It is so hard to believe that she is already turning ONE!! It seems like just a few short weeks ago that I was taking her newborn photos!

She has always been so cooperative for her photography sessions including her 6 month baby session! She has always been as cute as can be with great ideas from her mommy and Auntie!!

We opted for lots of photos and portraits for her 1st birthday. She was a little more serious than normal for her 1 year session but we were able to get lots of adorable smiles!!

I loved her blue custom embroidered dress that was used for her 1st outfit.

Harper has such beautiful eyes and the cutest chubby cheeks!!

I recently received many new backdrop colors for a variety for the cake smash sessions that are scheduled in the coming months. I have been dying to use this purple backdrop and her colors in her outfits made the perfect combo for stunning portraits!

She loved her sparkling silver shoes.. In one photo she showed them off… Almost as if she wanted to make sure I got pictures of them! And I did!! I will share them later.

Her mommy and auntie made this absolutely precious shabby county chic banner and matching tutu. I fell in love with the colors and patterns. It seems like Harper liked them too.

CAKE SMASH TIME!!!

Even the cake for the cake smash was custom made by her auntie. The shell was colored white chocolate with vanilla cake and bright pink frosting!! At first she was a little timid but quickly got the hang of it…. Especially when she realized the casing was white chocolate. She loved that more than the cake! She is a little girl after my won heart, for sure… I mean you can’t list too many women who don’t like chocolate!

Taking it even further, she is such a sweet little girl. She was wanting to share the chocolate with all of us. It was too cute for words!
