More perfect weather here in the Raleigh area and we are taking advantage of it with some more beautiful family photography sessions. This morning was absolutely perfect with cooler temperatures, low humidity and a really nice breeze…. Really a perfect day for family pictures!

We all have obstacles during family portrait sessions. Sometimes we put off having family pictures done do to health concerns… This poor mommy has been battling some issues herself. Just a few weeks ago she finally got some answers after exploratory surgery and being sick for so long. I am so happy to know that they were able to get her answers so that she is well on her way to feeling healthy again.

This is such a beautiful mommy, inside and out. Up until today I had never met her in person, we only had a friendship through Facebook… and I was so excited to know that this is the first time they should put a dress on since she married her husband. She rocked that dress with both color, comfort AND style!!

The youngest little guy was shy at first, it took him a few minutes to warm-up me… But when he did he was precious as can be. You can tell how much he loves his mommy, and how much his mommy loves him.

I think that we all have many reasons not to get her family portraits done… Most of the time it’s because of the way we think we look… I will say this, Family portraits are so important for so many reasons not just for something beautiful to hang on your wall to reflect on and remind us what is important in our lives, but it allows us to capture memories that will hold onto forever. Especially when you get siblings together for a little bit of downtime and you get that special shot.
