Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Day

Holly Springs NC Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Cookout | Holly Springs NC Photographer | Mims House

When my husband and I were looking to buy a new house, Holly Springs was at the top of our list for so many reasons. It’s a perfect little town in the suburbs of Raleigh North Carolina, with lots of family fun, manageable traffic (at the time) a great school system, and according to Forbes magazine as one of the safest cities! The Town of Holly Springs actually has a link directing you to all of the different awards this town has won. HERE

One of the things that we really didn’t know anything about was how connected the town is with the residents. One of the many great ways the town stays connected is through the Holly Springs North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber of commerce

I have been a photographer in this area for almost 5 years now. And For the past three years, being a photographer is my full time and only job, besides being a mother of course. I have always had a passion for small and local businesses. I believe it is the heart of what makes a community amazing. This year I made a change and decided to join the Holly Springs North Carolina Chamber of Commerce. It has been one of the most rewarding choices I have made in building T&T Photography and making it a Holly Springs brand.

It was my pleasure to document this year’s Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Day. It was filled with local “celebrities”, fun activities for the children, food, and a preview of the beautiful venue, the Leslie Alford Mims House. One of the famous celebrities from here in Holly Spring, is none other than “Cinder”. Cinder is the Holly Springs Fire Department’s  mascot and I am sure is loved by every child and family in this community!! You have to be honest, Cinder is adorable and so photogenic!! It also looks like Cinder is very excited in a justly awaiting the opening of Mama Bird’s Ice Cream, another local favorite here in Holly Springs.

The food (Burgers and hotdogs) were cooked by Scott Manning, the president and CEO of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce. Not only did Scott cook, but he was the DJ too!! Scott is a man of many talents and another proud figure that we have here in this town.

There were plenty of activities for the entire family. With the plethora of food and music, there was also plenty of corn hole, jump house from Tucano Rentals, and dressing up.. Fun for the whole family. It was so much fun!!
