Raleigh 1st Birthday Photographer | Family Cake Smash | Family Photography

 

This was an absolute FIRST for T&T Photography. I have since had siblings and even a family of four my accident, but never a mommy and daddy and me cake smash!! It was so cute and so much fun for us all! When mom called me she was reluctant to ask if we could pull this off… She said we love having fun and don’t take things to serious. I knew this was going to be an awesome idea and counted the days to the session itself.

This handsome birthday boy was so precious and so fun to photograph. You could tell he is wide open to the whole world around him. He has a smile that lights up the room and you can tell how much his mommy and daddy adore him.

Unfortunately we got rained out for the first part of Leland’s 1st birthday photography session. During that part of the session we take some mommy and me, daddy and me and then photos focusing on the birthday boy. I loved his tuxedo shirt!!! I just knew the red chair wold go perfect with that outfit. A tuxedo shirt always reminds me of the movie Talladega Nights movie… “I want to be formal, but I like to party too.”. Haha!

His daddy proudly serves out country with the United States National Guard. It was so cute to watch this little birthday boy wear shirt to match his daddy’s uniform. You could tell, even at such a young age, he already had a respect for what his daddy does.

And his mommy. He just loved giving her some lovin’!! This mommy was a rockstar and made the shirts for the whole family for the cake smash portion of the session.
